A blend of west coast and east coast swagger, Jasmine is best known for her high energy, punchlines, and hilarious infusion of the law and her life experience into her comedy. Jasmine brings an edgy, witty, and intellectual humor that keeps her audiences at the edge of their seat… or falling out of them.
Who is Jasmine?
Jasmine is originally from Los Angeles, California and matriculated to the East Coast when she received a volleyball scholarship from the University of Virginia.
While at UVA, she received a bachelor’s degree, as well as a minor in African and African American Studies. Jasmine was captain of the volleyball team where she was honored as the State of Virginia Rookie of the Year and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Freshman of the Year, as well as being named to the ACC All-Second Team and as an East-Coast Region All-American.
Following graduation, Jasmine received a Juris Doctorate degree from Howard University and is now a barred attorney. Jasmine is currently living and working in Washington, DC. She has performed standup comedy all throughout the DC metro area including DC Comedy Loft, Room 808, HotBed and DC Improv - as well as opening for Rahmein Mostafavi.
